Internship opportunities are available on all Chesapeake Adventures programs for young adults ages 15 and 16. Interns participate in all of the program’s activities but are also called upon to assist staff members in organizing and operating the program. Interns are limited to one per trip and pay a tuition equal to 50% of the stated full tuition of that program. Interns for trips on the schooner SULTANA must have previously participated in a Chesapeake Adventures summer program onboard SULTANA. Intern applicants should fill out a standard application for the Chesapeake Adventures program of their choice. Once an application is received, the applicant will be contacted by a member of the Sultana Projects’ staff for a brief interview.
