Vessel Description
Boat sailed by owner in Swan Creek and in lower Chester River off Bogles Wharf. Rows easily with 7-1/2-foot oars and tracks well. Also used to fish on Tuckahoe Creek in Caroline County. Hull is lapstraked marine plywood. Seats and floorboards appear to be oak. Two rowing stations, but forward station hard to use. Boat basically suitable for one person, or an adult and spry child. Owner varnishes vessel annually, inside and out, plus rudder, tiller, centerboard, oars, etc. Kept on a trailer and protected with a tarp. Mast and sail stored in a shed. Boat sound throughout.
